Liebster Award

It became even sunnier over here because…

… of this!!!

Last time when I was nominated for the Sunshine Award, I was on cloud 9~~ & now being nominated/tagged for this Liebster Award, I'm on cloud 9 times 2 :D

All thanks to Jane from the lovely blog, Always With Yoo! The blog that I love & have to check every single day. Jane has this special blogging ability to make me as her dedicated reader feel all warm & fuzzy inside with her words & pictures :) So thank you, THANK YOU Jane!

The Rules-

- Answer the 9 questions that were asked.
- Tag 4 wonderful bloggers.
- Ask them 9 questions of your own.

The Questions-

1. What is your favorite quote?
Ooh I seriously have too many quotes that I love & 100% agree with! But if I were to quickly pick right now then any quote from Dr. Seuss for sure! Quotes from Dr. Seuss are uber fun to read as a child & when we're older, we still enjoy going back to reading them over & over again but this time, truly feeling the meanings behind these special quotes. Like this one, "The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go." AND this one, "Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better. It's not."
One quote that I usually live by though is, "You only have one life to live." as my personal excuse sometimes to do crazy & spontaneous things but most of all to follow my dreams & be happy.

2. If you can tell your 11 year old self a piece of advice, what would it be?
Don't rush yourself on getting older. Savor completely on being 11 years old and consume all the ups & downs of being so young. Getting older isn't go anywhere, it will still happen. It's funny when I was in my early teens, I couldn't wait to be 18 years old. Then when my 18th birthday came along, I started to anticipate for my 21st because it was like that "free roaming, real adulthood" kind of liberty to me. And when the good ol' 21st came & gone by years ago, I started to become nostalgic & not want time to fly by so fast! It's the Peter Pan inside of me hehehe.

3. Name one thing on your Christmas wish list this year.

The Camden tote from Madewell
I usually like to bring my Macbook, all of my writing needs, & a book around wherever I go so, this handy dandy bag would be ideal.

4. What is your go-to comfort food?
I'm a huge soup kind of gal so kimchi-jigae (kimchi stew), soondubu (tofu stew), hot pot, & Pho are on the top of my list!

5. Who is your role model?
Without any hesitation or doubt, my grandmama :) She was the only person in my entire life who took care of me, raised me and was right there by my side. As a baby, my parents had to work very hard every single day so, it was always my grandma & I. She was the one who gave me love, guidance, & protection all throughout my childhood. Now as I got older, I am still so fortunate to see the kind of life that she lives & to listen to her wise advice & concerns which I am incredibly thankful for. I still have a lot to learn but all the lessons + reminders of being kind always, forgiving, & having patience are thanks to my grandma.

6. What is one event in 2013 that was the most memorable to you?
Why, starting my blog of course on May 19!

7. Who was your favorite teacher and why?
My 5th grade teacher! He was the 1st teacher that opened my eyes to writing therefore being my *1st inspiration & my constant motivation.* He was the perfect teacher that us students could relate to because he never had that intimidating, strict boundary of teacher & student. He made learning fun as a 5th grader & memorable til' now.

8. What are the three words that best describe you?
Real, sympathetic, & organized.

9. Vampires or zombies?
If we're talking about humans versus vampires or zombies then, zombies! Just thinking about vampires being super fast, being able to fly around, & sinking their fangs into your neck to suck out your blood is horrifying! At least with zombies, they're slow with their actions! I blame The Walking Dead for this influence & wanting to be that kick ass zombie killer haha.
